Lovely summer days on Fanø

Now we got to play our first concerts, and as expected, it went really well. The Fanniker days in Nordby on Fanø added scenes, and we enjoyed it to the fullest. You can see a small clip from one of the concerts here. We play 'Waltz to an Old Swedish Lady', which I wrote many years ago. The melody is a tribute to my old playing partner, singer and harmonica player Pelle Lindström's mother, Ingrid, who was a strong old lady and a great personality. May she rest in peace!

In connection with the visit to Fanø, we also released a single with the two melodies The way home and The way I walk in a special 'radio version'. This means that the first melody is a little short. You can hear them here!

When we wanted to take the ferry to Esbjerg on Saturday evening, a bridge flap in the ferry berth had broken. This resulted in more than a day's bonus stay on the small, beautiful island, and that way we had time for a bit of sightseeing before we drove home on Monday. In pouring rain, by the way.

Now we look forward to it Music over Præstø Fjord where we will play in Dansetoppen on Friday 4 August. There we have a collaboration with dance leader Henrik Larsen from Stevn's running. We work to get the most out of combining new music and traditional dance.

We have been working with this for a long time, and we will repeat the collaboration at the Klaverfabrikken in Hillerød in November. Shall we meet for one or maybe even both evenings?
