HIMMERLAND ON SUMMER TOUR IN THE FAROE ISLANDS!

In the period 18 - 23 July, Himmerland returns with joy and great expectations to the Faroe Islands, where we played our first real concerts in 2010. We are very much looking forward to being able to show how much has happened since the last time!

Summartónar 2013 is a festival of new music organized by Felagið Føroysk Tónaskøld (Association of Faroese Composers), and takes place in concert halls around the islands.

The festival runs all summer from June 25 to August 17, and presents a wide range of excellent Faroese composers and musicians, along with a lot of foreign names.

Himmerland will play this year especially in Tórshavn (among other things in Nordens Hus), but also the island of Nolsoy and not least G! Festival in Gøta, is visited by the traveling quintet, who for once have taken girlfriends and children on the trip.
